Extension Questions

Encourage deeper thinking about mathematical concepts through a range of challenging reasoning and problem solving questions. 

Extension questions can be used to challenge individual pupils, as partner or small group activities or as a whole class activity provoking interesting mathematical discussions. 

All extension questions are based on a set of 12 basic question types (for example 'true or false' questions or 'spot the difference' questions). This allows pupils to work on the questions independently as they know what to expect from each type of question.
