This daily practice resource is designed to enhance speed and accuracy in maths, offering a broad range of questions that align with the KS2 maths curriculum.
With over 150 questions spread across the 6 weeks, the resource incorporates a mix of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. The questions progressively build in complexity, ensuring pupils grasp fundamental concepts before advancing.
Encourage pupils to choose whether to use a mental or written method when answering. Answers identify which would be the most efficient method for each question.
We recommend teachers integrate this resource into their daily maths lessons, or as a warm up in the afternoon. With 5 to 10 minutes a day you’ll then have a structured approach to arithmetic practice.

Week 33: Continues the focuses from the previous week and additionally focuses on adding fractions.
Week 34: Recaps all previous objectives covered in Fluent in Five for Year 5.
Week 35: Recaps all previous objectives covered in Fluent in Five for Year 5.
Week 36: Recaps all previous objectives covered in Fluent in Five for Year 5.
