'Are Numbers Real?' is a collection of 75 maths related questions to make pupils of all ages think.
These questions can be used to elicit discussions between pupils and develop listening skills. Encourage pupils to listen to the question, think about it and form their answer before answering and then listening to their peers answer.
The questions do not come with answers as they have been designed to initiate discussions. At Third Space Learning, we understand that not every question can have an answer and think it's important your pupils understand this as well.
Questions such as 'Is art mathematical?' and 'How many blades of grass are in a field?' are included in the pack.
These questions can be used at the start of the school day, after lunch or similar times to introduce a mathematical element throughout the day.
Help your pupils develop their reasoning skills by answering a given question and justifying the answer they provide.
