Maths Intervention Pack | Geometry

Support pupils in Year 2 to 6 develop their understanding of geometry, including properties of shape and position and direction, with these intervention lessons taken from Third Space Learning’s online one to one intervention programme.

This pack contains 9 of our geometry intervention lessons, including teaching slides and guidance for the tutor / intervention leader for each lesson.

Lessons have been developed by maths curriculum experts and specialists and refined using years of data provided by thousands of pupils and tutors each week following the lessons.

Each lesson follows a maths mastery approach and follows an ‘I do’, ‘we do’, ‘you do’ structure. Support slides can be used to aid pupils that may require extra scaffolding during the lesson.

Use this pack yourself with individual pupils or as part of a small group intervention.

Suggestions on the guidance include prompts on how to support pupils, questions to ask, modelling prompts, key mathematical terminology, possible misconceptions and how to handle them, as well as answers for the questions on the slides.
